15 mm rain was recorded in Saidpur, 36 mm in Golra and 42 mm in Bokra, 34 mm in Purodhai, 36 mm in New Katarian and 35 mm in Shamsabad.
Wasa on high alert
WASA has been put on high alert in Rawalpindi in view of rains.
According to WASA officials, scholars have been deployed in the surrounding and low-lying areas of Nala Lai, and heavy machinery has also been kept on alert for drainage.
Officials said that a total of 45 mm of rain was recorded in the twin cities, with the water level at Katarian in Nala Lai reaching 8.5 feet.
According to WASA officials, the water level at Golmandi bridge is 5 feet.
