Information Technology (IT) Minister Shaza Fatima has said that more than 91 percent registration of motorcycles and rickshaws has been done.

Talking to the media in Islamabad, Shaza Fatima said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has started a special relief program for the people. More than 91 percent registrations of motorcycles and rickshaws were done in the scheme, the ratio of vehicle registrations is 8.4 percent.

Shaza Fatima further said that oil prices have increased globally, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced to make the registration message absolutely free.

He said that motorcycles, rickshaws and rickshaws that fill less than 5 liters of petrol will get a discount of Rs 500 per week. Citizens should not share their personal information with anyone to avoid fraud.

The federal minister also said that all motorcycles registered after January 1, 2006 will be eligible for registration under the Chingchi scheme, the limit of 5 liters of petrol per token has been removed.

He said that September 18 was the busiest day for registration in the scheme, 38 thousand 974 registrations were done on September 14 under the fuel relief scheme.

Shaza Fatima said that on September 15, one lakh 49 thousand, on September 16, 3 lakh 49 thousand 935 registrations were made, fuel tokens were issued to 14 lakh 93 thousand 848 citizens under the fuel scheme.

He said that till now 6 lakh 55 thousand 67 citizens have got fuel, on September 18, 2 lakh 91 thousand 610 citizens got fuel on a single day.
