
Punjab Industry, Trade and Investment Minister Chaudhry Shafia Hussain has said that the trade relations between Canada and Pakistan are increasing, there were encouraging talks with the ministers and officials here and agreements were made regarding cooperation in various fields.
Chaudhry Shafi Hussain has given an interview to Jang/Jeo News on the occasion of Canada Gateway Expo in Toronto, Canada.
High Commissioner of Pakistan posted in Canada Mohammad Saleem, Consul General of Pakistan Khalil Bajwa and Expo organizer Rana Mohammad Tanveer welcomed Provincial Minister Shafi Hussain.
Chaudhry Shafi Hussain said that the negotiations with the Canadian authorities have been successful and Canadian delegations will visit Punjab soon.
The provincial minister said that meetings have been held regarding the export of textiles, soybeans, leather and various Pakistani products, we will also export salt to Canada.
He said that 90 percent of surgical instruments from Pakistan are already exported to America and Canada.
Provincial Minister Chaudhry Shafi Hussain said that it is a great pleasure to meet the Pakistani community living in Canada, High Commissioner Muhammad Saleem, Consul General Khalil Bajwa and their team are doing a great job.
Speaking at the Canada Gateway Expo earlier, Chaudhry Shafi Hussain said that tax-free zones have been established in Punjab for domestic and foreign industrialists.
He said that the Punjab government is providing all kinds of facilities and protection to foreign investors.
