Scientists are bringing new things to the scene by researching in space. Experts have spotted a super-hot mass of gas in space, which they thought shouldn’t be there.
This collection of gas, discovered in the early universe, is hotter than researchers expected. According to Dazhi Zhun from the University of British Columbia, scientists did not expect to see such a hot cluster in the early universe.
He further said that earlier he had doubts about this signal. But after months of verification, it was accepted that the gas was at least five times hotter than expected. Scientists believe that hot air was filling the sides of this cluster. They did not expect such a powerful object to exist in the early universe.
Experts made the discovery while observing a baby galaxy cluster called SPT2349-56, for which scientists peered back nearly 12 billion years. Although this cluster is young, it is very large and contains 30 active galaxies and its center is 500,000 light-years away.
