The police officials briefed the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Human Rights on the Hina Javed murder case.
CCPO said that there is neither CCTV nor anyone knows anything about the murder of Hina Javed, who was found dead in the washroom of the house in Rawalpindi.
He said that seeing the dead body, it was clear that it was not suicide, the deceased’s husband Faisal Asghar and employee Zeeshan have been arrested.
On the question of arresting the deceased’s father-in-law, the CCPO said that the investigation is on.
Committee member Shahida Rehman said that Hina’s family told us that such a big incident happened, the accused were sitting and having breakfast.
He further said that Hina’s family told them that the accused are being protected, your words are strengthening the allegations.
Zahra Wadud Fatemi said that the woman was beaten so much that there were holes in her body.
The standing committee called the family of the deceased Hina in the next meeting.
