Indian actress Divya Dutta has revealed that she had some reservations about playing the role of Shabu in Shah Rukh Khan’s popular film ‘Veer Zaara’.

Divya Dutta has said that although every actor wishes to act in a Yash Chopra’s film, I was worried that after playing a specific role in a romantic film like ‘Veer Zaara’, I would be restricted to one type of roles.

Speaking during the promotional activities of her new film ‘Last Man in Tower’ opposite Manoj Bajpayee, Divya Dutta said that acting in Yash Chopra’s film is every actor’s dream.

He said that I grew up watching Yash Chopra’s films and always dreamed that I would get a chance to act in his film someday.

Divya Dutta told an Indian news agency that when I got the role in ‘Veer Zaara’, I wanted to be shown in beautiful chiffon sarees like Yash Chopra’s traditional films, but I had to play the role of Shabu, due to which I faced some hesitation in the beginning.

He has said that I really had some apprehensions about doing such a role, but after the release of the film, the situation turned out to be completely different.

According to the actress, the love received by the audience for my role in the film is remarkable.
