An Iranian Airlines plane burst a tire during the flight, which caused severe shocks in the plane and also caused engine failure.

According to foreign media, the incident occurred shortly after takeoff with an Iranian Airlines flight from Mashhad to Kermanshah with a Boeing 737, which had to make an emergency landing back in Mashhad.

According to media reports, a tire on the main landing gear burst and separated during the flight, causing severe jolts in the aircraft and engine malfunctions.

When the pilot informed the passengers about the engine failure, panic spread among the passengers.

According to media reports, the plane’s cabin roof and parts of the overhead compartments were damaged due to the strong tremors, while passengers’ belongings fell down from the luggage compartments and some objects hit the people on board.

In a video from inside the cabin shared on social media, passengers can be seen praying and screaming in fear.

According to media reports, the flight crew decided to return to Mashhad airport and landed the plane safely. According to initial reports, no passengers were injured in the incident.

According to reports, this is the second incident involving an Iranian Airlines plane at Mashhad Airport in recent times.
