Director High Performance PCB Aqib Javed says that plans are being made to conduct level one coaching courses from U-15 and U-17 levels, while language courses will also be conducted to overcome the language barrier along with working on psychology.

Director High Performance Aqib Javed visited U-17 Skills Development Camp Faisalabad.

Speaking on this occasion, he said that there is a 4-tier system in Pakistan cricket consisting of U-15, U-17, U-19 and First Class, the training of young players should not be limited to batting and bowling only.

Aqib Javed has said that there is a plan to conduct level one coaching course for U-15 and U-17 players, the young players should have an understanding of technique, balance and fundamentals of the game.

He says that the mental training of cricketers will also be worked on from the beginning, psychology will be made a part of the player development program at the U-15 and U-17 level, while language courses will also be conducted for young players to remove the language barrier.

Director High Performance PCB has said that the coaching, training and psychology program at the Under-19 level will be taken up to Level Two.
