Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir was met at GHQ Rawalpindi by a delegation of an American company providing services in the fields of defense and critical infrastructure under the leadership of Robert Brett Velekevich.

According to the Armed Forces Public Relations Department ISPR, issues of mutual interest and changing trends in defense technology were discussed in the meeting.

According to ISPR, the possibility of cooperation in the areas of procurement, production and capacity building of defense equipment was also discussed on this occasion.

According to ISPR, Field Marshal Asim Munir emphasized the importance of technological innovation in strengthening national security and country’s stability and expressed interest in further promoting cooperation and linkages in areas of mutual interest.
