In the Islamabad High Court, a case was heard on the application of Ahmed Mujtaba, a candidate for the post of Assistant Director, against the alleged manipulation of the results of the recruitment in the Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services.

The court has asked for the records from the Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services, despite the court order, the records of the recruitments could not be submitted.

The High Court again issued a notice and called for records till October 5. Petitioner Ahmed Mujtaba appeared before the court in person.

Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir of the High Court had a conversation with the Assistant Attorney General and the petitioner. Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir said that this child is standing for his right, he has brought this case here, it is a good thing.

Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir asked, “Have you ever checked the records of the employees of the National Assembly and the Senate?” Always check how many employees are employed in the National Assembly and the Senate and how many seats there are.

On this occasion, the petitioner said that I had asked the Information Commission for the records of the employees of the Senate and its subsidiary PUPs.

Lawyer Shehzad Shaukat did not appear, applied for adjournment. Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir said that Shahzad Shaukat is not here today, he has requested for adjournment.

The petitioner requested immediate suspension of the operation of the changed results of November 4, 2025.

The High Court adjourned the hearing of the case till October 5.
