The US House of Representatives passed the resolution for the third time on stopping the Iran war, the resolution was approved by 220 votes to 204.

The resolution was introduced by Congressman Seth Moulton, a former Marine who served during the Iraq War.

“Remembering that Donald Trump said the war will only last a few weeks, it’s time to ask the tough questions and not be subservient to another belligerent administration,” Moulton said.

Unlike President Trump’s ongoing war, the resolution makes military action subject to congressional approval.

This time, more Republican members sided with the Democrats, but no such resolution has been sent to President Trump so far.

If the resolution is sent to the White House, President Trump has the right to veto it.
