US President Donald Trump says that Iran has contacted the US directly, he wants to make a deal.

Speaking to reporters in North Carolina, the US president said that Iran wants to make a deal and we’ll see how it goes.

When asked if Iran had contacted him directly or through an intermediary, Trump said he had been contacted directly by Iran.

Meanwhile, when Trump was asked what stage of the war America is in now? So he replied that hopefully we are moving towards the end of the war.

It should be noted that these statements of Trump have come out at a time when the tension between Iran and the United States has increased over the issue of the Strait of Hormuz.

The situation remains despite a memorandum of understanding reached in June, in which the MoU envisioned an agreement to reopen the vital waterway as part of progress toward a broader peace agreement.

In February, the US and Israel launched a large-scale attack against Iran, targeting government buildings, military installations, missile installations and air defense systems. Iran responded by launching missile and drone attacks on Israel and US bases in the region.

The conflict has since spread to other parts of the region, while diplomatic efforts to end the fighting are ongoing.
