Famous American rapper Macklemore has announced that he will donate 1 million dollars of the proceeds from British singer Ed Sheeran’s ‘Loop Tour’ to organizations that help Palestinian citizens.

Macklemore has shared a detailed post in this regard on the photo and video sharing app Instagram.

He wrote in his post that the money will be distributed among 6 organizations working to help the Palestinian people, including the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, Heal Palestine, Gaza Soup Kitchen, Medical Aid for Palestinians, UNRWA USA and ANERA.

In his post, the American rapper also challenged New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft to donate an amount equal to his own donation.

Addressing Robert Croft, he wrote that there are differences, but the issue of protecting Palestinian citizens can be agreed upon.

It should be noted that Macklemore was kicked from the rest of Ed Sheeran’s tour after he chanted pro-Palestinian slogans during a performance at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium on September 4.
