The US House of Representatives has approved a bill imposing new sanctions on Iran and Russia.
The US House of Representatives passed a bill containing broad sanctions against Iran and Russia by a vote of 262 to 159.
The bill has already passed the Senate and has now been sent to President Donald Trump for his signature.
According to foreign media, this law presented under the name (Lindsey Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026) aims to increase the economic pressure on Russia, as well as expand the scope of sanctions against Iranian institutions that cooperate with Russia.
Under the law, the US president will also have the power to impose tariffs of up to 100 percent on major buyers of Russian oil and gas.
