Karachi (News Desk) Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council and Coordinator National Peace Message Committee Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi was presented with a special award and shield by the Church of Pakistan (Diocese of Raiwand) for his outstanding services for interfaith harmony, tolerance and peace. During the ceremony organized in the various religious and Christian leaders appreciated the efforts of Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi for establishing peace and order in the country, protecting the rights of minorities and religious harmony. During the event, Christian and Muslim leaders expressed mutual solidarity and reiterated their commitment to promote inter-faith tolerance.
