The detailed decision of the High Court has come, after that there is no way to attack Islamabad: Mohsin Naqvi

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said in a blunt message to the opposition that after the decision of the Islamabad High Court, there can be no attack on the federal capital, and told the forces that they will stop them in every possible way.

Mohsin Naqvi, while holding a press conference with Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry in Islamabad, said that the detailed decision of the Islamabad High Court has come, after that there is no way to attack Islamabad. If you want to bring it, we are ready.

The Federal Interior Minister said that if anyone violates the court decision, they will first take action for contempt of court.

He said that you must protest in your area and city. Blocking of Islamabad or attack in the name of protest cannot be allowed.

He said that in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa we are fighting against terrorism. Instead of protesting, rallying people or collecting donations, the focus should be on the fight against terrorism.

The interior minister said that he is telling in advance so that no one gets misunderstanding and does not complain later. We have just had a detailed meeting on the law and order situation. In the meeting, the opposition’s call for protest in the coming days was considered.

Mohsin Naqvi said that if someone leaves after the court decision, first we will take court action, otherwise we will not let anyone leave. We have also told the provinces.

He said that a particular tribe is being mentioned on social media that it will come to Islamabad in particular. We have suffered a lot in the past and weapons have been used. If anyone dies in this protest, those responsible will be brought to justice.

The Interior Minister said that Zeb does not allow that on the one hand the funerals of the martyrs are carried out and on the other hand they prepare for the dharna. If the Chief Minister prepares as much to fight the terrorists as he is doing for the sit-in, then the terrorism will be reduced to a great extent.

Mohsin Naqvi said that how many times did the Prime Minister invite you to talk in the Parliament?

They said that we are ready, this time they will not allow the unrest that some people have been spreading in the past. If you want to bring it, we are ready. Today we are ready to deal with them.

The interior minister said that after consultation with all the provinces, our preparations are complete.

He said that if PTI conducts a survey within its own party, the majority will not know why they are coming. They should think as patriotic Pakistanis.

The interior minister said that political activity is different, the form of gatherings and coming armed is another thing. The work of the Ministry of Interior is to stop the gatherings. There are many sensible leaders in the opposition, hopefully they will still think about it.

Mohsin Naqvi said that it is hoped that the intelligent people of the opposition will review the decision of the protest.

On this occasion, Prosecutor General Islamabad Manzoor Ahmad Jaja said that the Islamabad High Court had given a decision even before the arrival of the President of Belarus.

He said that due to such protests schools and markets in Islamabad are closed and we become indifferent to the world. Keeping in view the seriousness of the matter, the Islamabad High Court constituted a larger bench.

Prosecutor General Islamabad said that the Islamabad High Court has stopped government machinery and officers from joining the protest. Instructions have been given to all Chief Secretaries and IGs.

He said that whoever violates his oath will face Article 5. Violation of oath can be prosecuted beyond Article 5.

Manzoor Judge said that the decision of Islamabad High Court must be strictly followed, otherwise action will be taken.
