Pakistani cricketer Muhammad Rizwan’s permission to talk to the media was denied.

Sources close to Mohammad Rizwan say that Rizwan had sought permission from the Pakistan Cricket Board to do a media talk, he had asked the PCB twice for permission to do a media talk, but both times the PCB refused to give permission.

Sources say that Rizwan wanted to make the whole controversy public, he wanted to give the details of the mobiles seized after the Lord’s Test and to make public the details of the allegations leveled against him.

Mohammad Rizwan also wanted to share details about the letter written to ICC.

They wanted to invoke Clause 16 respecting Clause 4.1 of the Central Contract.

According to Clause 4.1, the player cannot make a public statement without permission, while according to Clause 16, there must be mutual cooperation between the PCB and the player.
