Renowned religious scholar Mufti Tariq Masood has urged the Muslims living in Japan to highlight the true teachings of Islam through their good morals and good character while fully respecting Japanese laws, local culture and public convenience.

Mufti Tariq Masood in a special conversation with Jang and Geo News has said that Islam teaches discipline, cleanliness, honesty, keeping promises and respecting the rights of others.

He said that it is the responsibility of Muslims living in Japan to prove by their behavior that Muslims are peaceful, law-abiding and responsible citizens.

The religious scholar said that prayers and other acts of worship should be performed inside the mosque, imam bargah, house or any suitable four walls, and avoid performing prayers in public places, streets and public parking lots, so that Japanese citizens do not face any kind of problem or hindrance in transportation.

Mufti Tariq Masood directed the visitors to the mosques and places of worship to park their vehicles in designated parking areas and not to park illegally or violate traffic rules.

He said that the most effective invitation of Islam abroad is the good character of Muslims, honesty, gentle conversation and respect for the rights of others. Muslims living in Japan can win the hearts of the Japanese people with their morals and actions.
