Iran made a conditional offer to the US to open the Strait of Hormuz in 7 days.

Iranian officials say that if the US ends the blockade of the Iranian seas, the Strait of Hormuz can be opened in a week.

Officials said that this proposal has been conveyed to the United States through mediators.

The Japanese news agency described it as ‘stepping up Tehran’s efforts to resume talks with Washington’.
