In Indian domestic cricket, including the Indian Premier League (IPL), echoes of match-fixing and corruption have started to be heard.

According to Indian media reports, the match-fixing revelations raised many questions on Indian cricket. Former Indian first-class cricketer Richat Bhatia has made alarming revelations.

The report stated that franchise Chennai Super Kings’ team information kept reaching the bookies for lakhs of rupees. Inside news of 5 matches was given to bookies for Rs 3 crore.

According to Indian media reports, not only IPL, Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy matches were also fixed. Ranji Trophy and Delhi Premier League matches were also fixed.

After allegations of match-fixing, the Delhi District Cricket Association took action and announced an investigation into the alleged corruption in the league.

According to the cricket website, the DDCA said that a letter was written to the authorities concerned regarding the allegations, requesting a review.
