In view of the long march of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), a special duty allowance of Rs 1,000 per day was approved for Punjab Constabulary personnel.

Allowance will be given to Punjab Constabulary personnel posted on special law and order duty, the IG office has issued a letter of special allowance.

The post said that constabulary officers posted on special law and order duty will be entitled to allowance, payment of special duty allowance will be subject to actual posting and daily attendance.

RPOs, CPOs, DPOs and Constabulary Commandants of Punjab have been informed.
