It was determined to convert the Makkah Defense Agreement into effective military cooperation. The meeting of Chiefs of Defense Forces and Chiefs of General Staff of the countries involved in the Makkah Joint Defense Agreement was held in Riyadh.

According to the Turkish Armed Forces, Field Marshal Asim Munir, Turkish Chief of General Staff General Seljuq and Saudi Chief of General Staff participated in the meeting.

According to ISPR, the meeting reviewed the security situation and the threats facing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The participants said that the meeting reflects the commitment to strengthen the defense partnership.

According to ISPR, the participants condemned the attacks on Makkah, civilian population and economic facilities. The participants appreciated the diligence and professionalism of the Saudi Armed Forces

The meeting also praised the professionalism of the Saudi forces to ensure the security of the kingdom. Further promotion of cooperation between the armed forces of the three countries was also discussed in the meeting.

The meeting also discussed ways to improve military coordination and integration of defense capabilities. The participants appreciated the long-standing relationship and mutual trust between the people and armed forces of the three countries.
