A snake 5 feet long came out from inside the bonnet of a moving car in America.

A woman in the US state of Tennessee recorded a video in her moving car during a recent trip, when a snake crawled out from under the hood of the car.

The woman told the media that I was sitting in the car thinking that there was a huge snake on the bonnet of our car. At that time we were going to Mount Juliet to get soccer equipment for our youngest daughter and were talking when suddenly my husband said it was a snake.

The family tried to stop the car on the side of the road to get the snake off the car, but the snake jumped out before the car came to a complete stop.

Mallory Tate, a biodiversity specialist with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, said the snake in the video was apparently a gray rat snake, which is non-venomous and very common in Tennessee.

In the past too, there have been several incidents of snakes being seen on the bonnets and windscreens of moving vehicles. In a 2023 incident in The Village, Oklahoma, local police were involved, capturing the snake and moving it to safety.
