ISLAMABAD (Mehtab Haider) The Ministry of Finance has informed the State Bank of Pakistan, Controller General of Accounts (CGA), Military Accountant General (MAG) and NADRA that the commercial banks will not declare the bank accounts of more than 3 million pensioners as dormant (inactive) simply on the basis of non-completion of biometric verification or proof of life. This step has been taken under the receipt and payment rules 2025 of the federal government.
