After the Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, the top military officials of Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan called an emergency meeting.

According to the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the top military officials of the three countries will discuss ways to help Saudi Arabia under the joint defense agreement.

Earlier, the foreign ministers of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey met in New York.

Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Turkish counterpart Haqan Fidan also discussed the preparations for calling an emergency meeting of the top military officials of the three countries in the meeting.

According to the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting also reviewed the progress on the establishment of the General Secretariat, committees and working groups under the Makkah Agreement and the preparations to start the implementation of the agreement.

The three foreign ministers also strongly condemned the attacks on Makkah and Saudi Arabia’s civil and economic facilities.

While appreciating the efforts made by the Saudi Armed Forces to defend the country, the three foreign ministers also supported the right of Saudi Arabia to defend itself and discussed the situation in the region.

Meeting of foreign ministers of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey:

Earlier, the foreign ministers of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey met in New York along with their delegations.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said that Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud and Turkish Foreign Minister Haqan Fidan met with the delegations.

He said that the meeting took place under the framework of the Makkah Joint Defense Agreement.

He said that we discussed the progress on establishing administrative structures under the agreement and discussed the situation in the region and international affairs.
