German tennis star Alexander Zverev gave a very surprising reaction to win the US Open final, which became the focus of special media attention.

Alexander Zverev defeated American Ben Shelton in the final to claim the US Open title, but instead of celebrating his victory, he surprisingly kept his usual demeanor.

After taking the ball out of his pocket and tossing it to the other side, the tennis star walked to the corner of the court towards his team and did not even show a happy expression on his face.

When his brother Masha Zverev crossed his arms and signaled to him that the match was over, he realized that he had become the US Open champion.

Later, while giving an interview to the media, he said that actually I did not realize that the match was over and that I had won the US Open, but I was thinking that the score was 5-1 at that time, while the score was already 6-2.

Alexander Zverev said that this misunderstanding also saved me from feeling pressure in the decisive game.

It should be noted that this success of his is his second Grand Slam title in 2026, before that he has also won the French Open.
