National cricket team players Imam-ul-Haq and Muhammad Rizwan appeared before the National Cyber ​​Crime Investigation Agency, where both cricketers were questioned for two hours regarding alleged dressing-room leaks and information obtained from mobile phones during the England series.

According to the sources, the NCCIA also questioned the two players on their contacts and meetings during practice and matches in England, while conversations on mobile phones and leakage of sensitive information of the dressing room were also questioned.

The investigation is examining various aspects including possible factionalism, interpersonal differences, political conflict or conflict within the team. Efforts are also being made to determine whether a player was under pressure from social media, team management or any other source that affected his performance.

According to the sources, the background of one player getting out for a low score and another player being out of the field due to injury has also been made a part of the investigation, however, no final result has been revealed at present regarding the connection of these incidents with any conspiracy, corruption or other illegal activity.

The investigation is reviewing phone calls, messages, meetings, conduct and information related to alleged dressing room leaks.

According to sources, Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Rizwan have sought time from the NCCIA to submit further replies.

PCB had sent the mobile phones of the cricketers to the concerned agencies, NCCIA is investigating based on the information obtained from the mobile phones of the players.
