Leader of Jamaat-e-Islami, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has said that the government has received 4 thousand billion rupees from the public in the form of petrol levy.

Talking to the media on Mall Road, Hafiz Naeemur Rahman demanded that the price of petrol should be reduced, as much as the car owner is paying tax, the motorcycle owner is also paying the same amount.

He said that today is the 23rd day of Jamaat-e-Islami sit-ins and our sit-ins have created hope among the people.

Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami said that as a result of sit-ins and protests, people have got 20 to 30 percent relief, they will fight more with the support of the people for the approval of the demands.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that Jamaat-e-Islami is representing the people, sit-ins are going on in different places of the country and people are connecting with it.

He alleged that there is more than 5 thousand crore rupees corruption in FBR.

Hafiz Naeemur Rahman says that government officials work to please their masters, the aim of our sit-ins is not to harass the people but to raise their voice for their rights.

He also said that now Jamaat-e-Islami will go towards a strike.
