Staying during the Asian Games on an Italian cruise called Costa Serena will be a unique experience for the athletes.

The floating village is built on the port of Nagoya and has all the facilities, the 290 meter long Costa Serena will accommodate 4 thousand athletes and officials.

People began arriving today in the first-of-its-kind housing during the Games in Japan, with several temporary shelters set up at the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya.

A dedicated village was not built during the Games to cut costs, and accommodation facilities for the Asian Games have come under criticism before the start of the event.
