Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team qualified for the semi-finals of the Asian Games after defeating the Thailand Women’s Team by 3 wickets in the quarter-finals.

The second quarter-final of the women’s cricket event of the Asian Games was limited to 11 overs per innings due to rain.

Pakistan won the toss and bowled, with Fatima Sana taking the wicket of the opener in the second over, followed by a 65-run partnership between Pantha Maya and Nanapath Koncha Ronki.

Nanapath Koncha Ronki played an innings of 49 runs, Thailand scored 91 runs for four wickets. Fatima Sana took two wickets.

Chasing the target, the Pakistani openers provided a good start of 36 runs, with Shawal scoring 25 runs and Gul Feroza scoring 16 runs. After that wickets kept falling one by one, but captain Fatima Sana managed the team by scoring 21 runs with the help of 3 fours and a six.

Then Tuba Hasan scored 13 runs with the help of a six and a four to lead the team to victory.
