Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat has expressed her gratitude to the Commissioner of Food and Drug Administration of Maharashtra Takaram Mandhe and said that because of you we can now eat in peace.

The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration Commissioner has launched a massive drive against irregularities in the food and beverage business across the state from May 2026.

The FDA commissioner has been in the news for the past few weeks. His efforts to improve the quality of food served to the public in the state and ensure strict implementation of food safety laws have now been appreciated by actress Malika Sherawat.

On her Instagram account, the actress shared a video in which she was seen eating idli and chutney. Looking at the camera, he praised Mandhe’s services in marathi language and said that his work has indeed left a significant impact. Now I can eat in peace knowing that your strict laws and your principles are keeping us all safe. Thank you very much.

Malika Sherawat’s statement comes at a time when the FDA Commissioner-led agency has launched a massive crackdown against food businesses, hotels, restaurants and godowns across the state.
