British Prime Minister Andy Burnham has said that Saudi Arabia’s request for defense air refueling for a limited period has been approved.

Andy Burnham said that the initiative of defense air refueling will help in bringing overall stability in the region.

According to the news agency, the request was made by Saudi Arabia at a time when operations against the Houthis are ongoing in Yemen.

Prime Minister Andy Burnham said that we had received a request for military assistance from Saudi Arabia.

He said that on the advice of the Minister of Defense and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the request for defense air refueling was approved. Of course, Saudi Arabia is facing attacks, we have to keep these routes open, that’s why the request of Saudi Arabia was approved.
