The US Embassy has said that in addition to scheduled load shedding on a daily basis, unannounced power outages are also ongoing in Cuba, while the duration and number of these outages have increased in recent days.

According to Cuban state media, the cause of the system disruption is being investigated, with no definitive time given for power restoration.

Cuba’s Ministry of Energy also posted on social media about the power outage.
