Pakistani senior actress Afshan Qureshi revealed the difficult phase of her early career.

He recently revealed that a failed theater venture left me in deep financial trouble and debt, but an unexpected project changed the course of my life.

The senior actress has recalled the difficulties she faced after moving to Karachi in the early years of her career.

Afshan Qureshi revealed that despite the financial crisis, I remained determined to continue working and made and sold handmade items to meet my expenses.

The senior actress has said that after moving to Karachi in 1980, I produced a stage drama, but this production turned into a huge financial loss at that time.

He said that some artists did not cooperate with me and demanded advance payment, so I even had to sell my vehicles to pay the artistes.

Afshan Qureshi, instead of giving up in difficult circumstances, found another way to meet his expenses.

“I started doing macramé (a craft in which threads or ropes are knotted in a specific way to make various items),” she said, selling the items she made in a bazaar in Karachi.

Afshan Qureshi says that after many months of difficulties there came a time when I asked Allah for help and after some time a director offered me a role in the play which turned out to be a turning point.

Describing herself as a hardworking woman, the actress said, “I did not let the financial crisis overwhelm my morale and constantly looked for ways to cope with the situation.”
