It has been decided to conduct an anti-polio campaign in Sindh from September 21 to 27.

According to the Sindh Chief Minister’s spokesman from Karachi, the target is to vaccinate more than 1 crore children during the campaign.

Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that anti-polio campaign will be conducted in all 30 districts of Sindh, 23 complete and 7 partial districts will be targeted during the campaign.

Sindh Chief Minister said that polio virus is still present in the world only in Pakistan and Afghanistan. The presence of poliovirus in environmental samples is a cause for concern.
