Leading Indian television actress Deepika Kakkar announced her return to work, she says that a daily serial is not possible during treatment, talking about health issues, she said that she can shoot for a day for a music video, but a daily serial would be very difficult for her.

Talking about her comeback through the music video, Deepika said, “Let’s see what happens, seeing my condition at the moment, I don’t think I will be able to do the daily work.” Obviously, why would anyone cast me in such a role? It is quite clear.

The 41-year-old actress, who is battling cancer, says that it will be difficult to shoot a daily serial due to her health condition. He said that it is nothing to think about, because it is a treatment, it has side effects.

Talking about returning to dance rehearsals after a long break, Deepika said that she had to take a break every 10 minutes, which made her realize how weak her body had become.

She said the shooting of the song is over and she is feeling both nervous and excited about her comeback.

According to recent reports, Deepika is currently working on a music video with her husband Shoaib Ibrahim.

Deepika Kakkar was diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer in 2025 and underwent surgery to remove a tumor from her liver in June of the same year. She has since been documenting her recovery and treatment journey through her vlogs.

In February 2026, Deepika underwent another surgery after a cyst was detected in her liver. After two new small cysts were later discovered, doctors again advised observation rather than surgery, after which Deepika started immunotherapy.

In a recent vlog, he said the treatment causes nausea, vomiting and fatigue.
