The Federal Government has appointed Dr. Syed Ali Farhan Razi, Vice Chairman of Darul Sahat Hospital Karachi and CEO of Liaqat Medicine and Dentistry as the President of Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council, which has been issued an official notification.

According to the notification issued by the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, the Federal Minister of Health, Mustafa Kamal, using the powers under Section 11(1) of the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council Act, 2026, has immediately appointed Dr. Syed Ali Farhan Razi as the President of the Council.

The notification states that Dr Syed Ali Farhan Razi will work in his post as per the relevant provisions of the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council Act 2026.

The notification is also directed to be published in the Gazette of Pakistan, Part II.
