English county cricketer Robin Das has been charged in two cases of raping a woman.

According to the Metropolitan Police, Rabindas was charged with two counts of rape on July 23, 2026. Rabindas, 24, will appear at Inner London Crown Court on October 9.

According to British police, the case began in March 2024 after a report of the alleged rape of a woman in Brixton, Robin Das was arrested in August 2025.

The police say that the victim is being supported continuously by specialist officers. Robin Das is a top-order batsman for Essex County Cricket Club. Essex immediately suspended Robin Das after the case.

The Essex club, on the other hand, have declined to comment further until the legal proceedings are completed.

Robin Das made his first-class debut for Essex in 2020, he has played 60 matches.
