
Pakistan’s renowned religious scholar and preacher Maulana Tariq Jameel has said that if women have stopped cooking at home in modern times, it is an unnatural trend, which can cause concern not only in terms of health but also socially.
Maulana Tariq Jameel recently participated in a podcast, where he spoke on various topics related to home lifestyle, diet and health.
During the conversation, Maulana Tariq Jameel was asked that the tendency of women not to cook at home is increasing nowadays, what is your opinion on this?
In response to this question, Maulana Tariq Jameel said that if women have really stopped cooking at home, then it is a very unnatural thing.
He said that during a visit to America in 1998, a doctor showed me the statistics of North America, according to which 1 billion dollars were spent on depression drugs in just one year.
He said that if the situation was like this at that time, it would have increased more today.
According to Maulana Tariq Jameel, unnatural and artificial food also affects human behavior.
He said that excessive consumption of fast food can lead to mood swings, increase in anger and decrease in endurance, which in turn can affect the relationship between husband and wife and increase in domestic conflicts.
He added that an unhealthy diet can affect our energy, health and physical strength, use desi ghee, avoid junk food, eat desi food and avoid using cooking oil, we are lucky to have desi ghee in our homes.
Maulana Tariq Jameel said that if the stoves of the houses are cold, it is like inviting diseases, while the business of physicians is also increasing due to this trend.
He also described bakery products and different types of double bread as unhealthy and said that such foods can be harmful to health.
