The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has collected a tax of 1722 billion in the first 2 months of this fiscal.

According to FBR sources, the institution has collected more than 12 billion rupees in taxes from the target set for the month. The target of tax collection during 2 months was 1 thousand 710 rupees.

According to the sources, FBR collected tax of 902 billion rupees in August 2026, which is 28 billion less than the target of this month.

According to sources, FBR had set a target of tax collection of Rs 930 billion in the month of August.
