Goods Forwarding Association Rawalpindi wrote a letter to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

The letter alleged that vehicles from other cities were being caught by Punjab and Islamabad police.

The letter further said that thousands of tons of essential goods, industrial material and medicine are contained in the containers, and the cruelty meted out to traders and transporters should be taken note of.

The Goods Forwarding Association’s letter stated that transporters and traders are facing a financial loss of crores of rupees.

Goods Forwarding Association also sent a copy of the letter to Interior Minister, IG Islamabad.
