Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman announced not to end the sit-in until the demands are approved.
In an address to the participants of the sit-in in Lahore, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that taxes are collected from the public on everything, the elites are exempted, we will not end the sit-in until our demands are approved.
He said that we are not fond of sit-ins, we are not holding sit-ins for our own sake, the government is abusing the people, that is why we have come out.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami further said that when the government team came to Mansurah, we said that the sit-ins will continue.
He said that we suggested that tax should be imposed not on the poor but on the elite, luxury cars should be taxed, relief should be given to the poor people.
