US President Donald Trump has said he has no regrets about starting a war against Iran, despite the conflict’s potential impact on the US midterm elections in November.
Talking to the American media, the American President said that I don’t believe in the word regret, we can always question our decision.
During an interview, Trump said that if I had to do it over again, I would have done exactly what I did.
Trump also dismissed speculation that some of his supporters have become distraught and discouraged by the war.
“I don’t think they’re discouraged, I think they’re very proud that I’m not allowing Iran to get nuclear weapons,” he said.
Trump reiterated his position that the war would end soon after the midterm elections.
In the interview, he said that this dispute will end immediately after the elections.
