Former Pakistan cricket team captain Wasim Akram has urged the authorities to treat the World Cup-winning captain and founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) fairly.
Wasim Akram, speaking on the podcast Old Boys, New Balls, co-hosted by former England captain Ian Botham, said, “We want to thank all the captains who have recently signed the petition for PTI founders.
It should be remembered that former fast bowler Wasim Akram was an important member of the Pakistan team that won the World Cup in 1992.
The former fast bowler who was part of the Pakistan team has said that I am worried about the captain, I miss him as a friend, I miss him as a mentor and we all miss him as a leader, we have not even seen his picture for 3 years.
He said that we want this government to treat him fairly, as other politicians have been treated before.
