In the first two months of the current financial year, the growth of major industries and foreign investment declined

Islamabad (Report, Tanveer Hashmi) In the first two months of the current fiscal year, July and August, inflation increased to 10.2 percent, which was 3.6 percent in the same period last year. The growth of major industries decreased from 8.93 percent to 3.03 percent. Remittances increased by 14.7%, current account balance improved and there is a deficit of 543 million dollars which was 85 million 30 million dollars in the same period last year. According to the monthly development report of the Ministry of Planning, the tax revenue growth of FBR increased by 3.7% during two months, the provision of loans to the private sector decreased by 73%. Pakistan needs to convert its global achievements into domestic strength.
