In view of the long march of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Islamabad was covered with containers. More than 1000 containers were placed on different routes of the federal capital.

1000 containers have been delivered inside the city. Section 144 was enforced across Punjab. While Rangers have been called to ensure the establishment of law and order.

Entry of goods carriers and large vehicles to Islamabad was banned on Motorway M2. M14 and Peshawar Motorway have also been decided to be closed for traffic from today.

The Punjab government has also requested to slow down mobile and internet services from September 27.
