India: Riots broke out in the state of Manipur after the murder of 2 women

After the murder of two women belonging to the Kuki community in India’s northeastern state of Manipur, armed men set fire to two houses.

According to Indian media, firing continued for about 6 hours during the armed clash, many people went missing after the riots.

According to the report of the Indian journal Deccan Herald, 306 people have been killed, 49 people are missing and thousands have been displaced in the fighting between Methi and Kuki communities in the state of Manipur.
