Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with his Iranian counterpart Iskandar Momini, in which they discussed the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Iran and the latest situation in the region.

In the meeting, progress on the ongoing cooperation between the interior ministries of the two countries in various fields was reviewed.

The Iranian Interior Minister thanked the efforts of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for regional peace and stability and said that he is grateful for Pakistan’s continuous efforts to establish peace in the region, the recent visit to Pakistan was very useful.

Mohsin Naqvi said that the bilateral relations will be more stable in the coming time.

Earlier, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi arrived in Tehran on an official visit to Iran. He was received at the airport by Iranian Interior Minister Iskandar Momani.
