In the ongoing war between Iran and the US, there are clear indications of more intensity.

An analytical report published in Arab media claimed that Gulf and regional leaders who had been trying to negotiate and de-escalate tensions between Iran and the United States, have once again been mobilized by an escalating series of attacks and reprisals.

During the last 24 hours, significant military tension has been seen in the situation.

According to Arab media, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards have claimed that a ‘devastating missile attack’ has been carried out on Jordan’s al-Azraq military base in response to US attacks.

According to Iran’s claim, the attack targeted F-35, F-16 and F-15 warplane repair and deployment centers, but the Jordanian army has said contrary to this claim that it destroyed 18 of the 20 ballistic missiles in the air, while 2 missiles fell in open areas, causing no casualties or property damage.

The IRGC further claimed that 2 US Navy warships, 2 other US ships and 8 oil tankers were also targeted in the Strait of Hormuz.

The Arab media report said that despite the conflicting claims of the parties, there are indications of a rapid deterioration of the situation in the region and the fear of further attacks and retaliation between the US and Iran in the coming days and weeks has increased.
