Iraqi security forces located the site used in the attack on the East-West oil pipeline in Saudi Arabia and seized drone launching equipment.

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that pro-Iranian armed groups are active in Iraq from where the pipeline was attacked, and the pipeline has been temporarily closed after the attack.

The closure of the Strait of Hormuz has made the pipeline a key source of Gulf oil shipments in recent months.

On the other hand, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi had a telephone conversation with the foreign ministers of Turkey and Iraq.

The three foreign ministers discussed the regional situation, bilateral relations and diplomatic efforts to prevent further spread of conflicts in the region.
